Frequently asked Questions

  • The majority of our private and group classes are 60 minutes in length.

  • All equipment is provided for you here at Zenergy!

  • It is preferred to wear form-fitting clothing so your instructor can assess alignment and make corrections when necessary.  No shoes are worn, and we recommend grip socks for safety and hygiene. If you do not have grip socks, we have some available for purchase!

  • The main difference between Yoga and Pilates is that Pilates can be done on a mat or a reformer. Pilates has a direct focus on stabilizing muscle groups and helps you obtain good posture, balance, endurance, breathing, stability and control. Yoga focuses more on flexibility and stretching broad muscle groups.

  • Classes at a gym are often packed and the instruction is rarely customized to the individual.  Zenergy Pilates & Wellness provides instructors that have had hundreds of hours of training to learn proper exercise techniques, the body, and how to deliver a safe, effective exercise program for any body type.

  • Feel free to look at our Services page to see whether a group mat class or group reformer class would be better for your group. Once you are ready to book you can reach out to us on our Contact Us page!

  • Pilates is effective for toning and building lean muscle. Combining Pilates with a healthy diet and other forms of exercise such as strength training and cardio can help you lose weight.
